DH server data from older mc version don't load in newer versions
Hi, I used to play on a vanila server with 1.20.4 client (dh 2.1.2), but they announced switching to 1.21.1+ clients only and my old lod file gets erased every time I try importing it to 1.21.1 (dh 2.2.1) and joining the server.

By erased you mena nothin loads or all the DB files get deleted?
DH 2.1.2 stored LODs in a bit different format so DH has first convert all the data and that can take some time
As it turned out, the lod data was stored in different file, all I had to do was move the older world file from overworld to the new file, sorry I'm not able to give indepth explanation, but I was able to fix the issue myself
