Issues with *Doom The Dark Ages* specifically
alright, so this one might be a doozy.
I've had this issue that after updating bazzite or deleting the ffx folder in the game files, the game will run at a cap of rougly 50 fps no matter what settings I apply to the game. Sometimes, I'll update the proton version or update bazzite (though, again, updating bazzite seems to cause the issue to reappear for some reason) and it fixes that problem, but then when I think the issue is solved, it crawls right back out of the woodwork.
A thing I found that seems to fix it temporarily is to uninstall the game and then reinstall it, but then I'll do some of the things I listed above and the issue comes back in full force. I'm honestly kinda stumped as to what specifically could fix the problem.
Any Ideas?
