Weird...

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out — that certificate error definitely looks unusual, especially since
gamma.kinde.com
should be serving a valid SSL certificate.
A few quick things you can try to rule out common issues:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try accessing the URL in an incognito/private window
- Use a different browser
- Check that your system date and time are set correctly
The certificate you’re seeing (ec-sabrehotelbooking-v1.rit.choiceedge.net
) doesn’t appear to be part of Kinde’s infrastructure. This could point to a DNS or routing issue on your local network.
To help us investigate further, could you let us know:
- Does this happen with all Kinde URLs or just gamma.kinde.com
?
- Are you seeing this on a specific device or network (e.g. a work laptop or corporate VPN)?
We’ll do our best to help you get this sorted.- Tried clearing cache, didn't work
- Tried, didn't work
- Tried on chrome, edge and firefox, all errored out
- Was already set properly, still errors out
- Pretty sure only gamma.kinde.com (though I visited it because of a redirect from spicychat.ai when trying to log in through google email)
- Both mobile phone (which has chrome) and laptop (which has edge), I tried using mobile data and it worked, but of course I would not like to waste my mobile data
Hi,
Thanks for the detailed follow-up — really helpful!
Since the issue doesn’t occur on mobile data but does happen on both your laptop and mobile when connected to your usual network, it strongly suggests a DNS or network-level issue.
To help us confirm this, could you please run a DNS lookup for
gamma.kinde.com
and share the results with us? Here's how you can do that:
On Windows:
1. Open Command Prompt
2. Run: nslookup gamma.kinde.com
On macOS/Linux:
1. Open Terminal
2. Run: dig gamma.kinde.com
This will help us see if your network is resolving the domain correctly. Let us know what you find, and we’ll take it from there.
Thanks again for your patience!Addresses:
54.187.37.232
44.235.136.170
Thanks for sharing those IPs — that confirms our suspicion.
The IP addresses you’re seeing:
don’t match the current IPs we expect for
gamma.kinde.com
, which suggests your DNS resolver may be returning incorrect or outdated records.
To move forward, here are a few things you can try:
- Temporarily switch to a public DNS like Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) to bypass your ISP/router’s DNS.
- Flush your local DNS cache:
- On Windows: Run ipconfig /flushdns
in Command Prompt
- On macOS: Run sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
in Terminal
- If you're using a VPN or company firewall, try temporarily disabling it just to test.
Let us know if switching DNS resolves the issue — this will help confirm the root cause.
Thanks again for bearing with us!Nice got it working now
Fixed by changing DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8)
Thanks
Great to hear that switching to Google DNS resolved the issue — thanks for confirming!
If there’s anything else you need help with or if you have any feedback about your experience with Kinde, we’d love to hear it.
Have a great day!
