Database Restore - Reimporting Images Clarification

First of all, thanks so much for this amazing app. Really appreciate the effort that has gone into it. Recently I was updating to 1.33.1 and went through the process of upgrading my PG image. Unfortunately, my DB mounts weren't set up correctly in docker and I lost my Immich DB, leading me to restore from an old 2023 backup. I've gone through the migration process with a rollback to 1.107.2 along the way (which was an interesting learning experience) and finally have immich all up to date. Unfortunately I no longer have any images from 2024-2025 showing in the GUI, which makes sense. The files are all still in the library folders though. tldr; Is there any way to rescan my library without going via CLI or external libraries? It feels messy to move everything out of the library folder and re-import when it's already in the right spot.

No, you would have to reupload any assets newer than your DB backup Are you sure you don’t have a backup in upload_location?

I'm using a custom PG install as I'm using it for other docker containers, and the automatic backup dumps aren't working because of permissions issues when trying to backup several tables not on the immich db. Here's the error I get when I try running the backup:
[Nest] 7 - 05/25/2025, 3:51:59 PM ERROR [Microservices:BackupService] pg_dumpall: error: query failed: ERROR: permission denied for table pg_authid

I assume the issue is dumpall tries to dump all db's and my immich user isn't a superuser? Hmm, just realised pg_authid is in the immich db. Any reason why immich wouldn't have permission as the db owner? Yep, looks to be a known problem with no likely solution https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/13971
