Distant generation internal server crashes game
Im playing a modpack with about 200 mods. The lod gen works great at 256 chunks but the second i turn on distant generation set at internal server my game crashes. This is in singleplayer

Do you have chunk generator mods like Chunky or world generation mods with custom terrain generator like William Wythers in those 200 mods modpack?
i have chunky, no custom terrain gen
Be sure not to have Chunky running while having Distant Horizons installed. Distant Horizons has its own terrain generator and can cause issues if other mods provide their own terrain generator.

You should send your
latest.log file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
