Problems starting Genshin impact
I have problems starting Genshin Impact
Often I got a c++ error when starting, then I found this here on the server https://discord.com/channels/812703221789097985/1375545880953880749/1375546498808287315
the error doesn't appear anymore, but when I click on start in the Genshin Launcher I wait a few seconds and then the game is finished

Bad update, despite the Env variable because of the c++ error I still get it

If it's relevant, I installed Genshin from my Epic Games library
Changing to Proton 10.0 seems to have helped

same issue for me, with Proton 10
Proton 9 can run launcher sometimes not too often tho
update: with Proton GE 10-3 and disabled umu launcher now works 100% of time, game itself works also

Install Proton 10 in Steam, set it as the runner in Heroic
you were running Cachy's modded Proton after all
