Seems like a common yet elusive bug.
Do you have any worldgen mods?
You can either revolve them or switch by the distant generation mode
/generators
- FEATURES: Complete generation of all LODs with mostly correct structures and trees. Does not save vanilla chunks, and is much faster than INTERNAL_SERVER unless C2ME is installed.
- INTERNAL_SERVER: Generates and saves both DH LODs and vanilla chunks, has 100% correct LODs, because it also saves vanilla chunks it takes the most amount of drive space. Generation speed will suck unless C2ME is installed.
- PRE-EXISTING: generates LODs for all existing vanilla chunks.
To internal server
Though already existing LODs will still be broken, only new ones will be correct
alright ty
incendium is the only nether one I believe
Well, still here, something really weird is happening with sharp slopes on chunk borders. Internal server does not help, probably something to do with the vertical bundling code. Upping the vertical quality is the only way for me to fix this for now, but obviously not the best option for lower-end pcs
1.20.1 forge, DH 2.3.2-b
Tectonic
Seed
huh

WWOO installed?
Nope, and I am pretty sure it is a bit of a different problem then the regular chunk borders, although absolutely can be the same. I am only observing it on sharp slopes as the "paint blocks below to the ones above" mechanic makes the depth a bit (a lot, on lower vertical quality) more on the chunk borders than at any other position
this is with world painter?
also not, but heightmaps are probably altered as for
"increased_height": true,
increased height is used on the DH SMP with tectonic i think
