iOS synchronization and iCloud export
Hello everyone,
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but there's something I can't figure out... I have all my photos and videos on my iPhone, synced to an iCloud subscription. I managed to recover all the files (I have 6900 photos and 2700 videos) with the Image Capture app on Mac, and I just tried with iCloudpd. Then I uploaded the entire folder with immich-go... but when I log in with the iOS app and choose to sync all folders (Recents, Favorites, Portraits, Screenshots, etc.)... the iOS app tries to reupload my entire library to my Immich server. Why?
I'd like to be able to sync my entire library (including folders) from my iPhone just once. I could restart syncing with just my iPhone, but it would take a long time, and I figured one day all my photos wouldn't be physically on my iPhone anymore, so I need to know how to do that.
Thanks in advance for your help.
