220+ modpack with DH stuck on loading terrain

Hey! Thanks for you help to whoever is reading this.

I'm making a Vanilla+ modpack and trying to get Distant Horizons to work on it- I mean it's a must nowadays. This modpack is extremely similar to Flowstate's videos on YouTube, I do the same since I host Vanilla+ SMPs every year.

I've got 228 mods at the moment, all of which have been used without Distant Horizons and works totally fine. I have another modpack that is currently being used for an active SMP I'm the owner of, and Distant Horizons (client side) plus 232 mods work completely fine with my specs (most of these mods are the literal same as the one with the modpack I'm having issues with).

Back to the modpack that isn't working: I have 24GB of RAM allocated, shaders OFF, all resource packs OFF, 16 render distance, and DH is only set to do 64 chunks when it loads in. I'm not getting past the loading terrain screen. Sometimes I don't even get to the block generation screen (the little square with the percentage on top). I have a Ryzen 7 7700X and a 3060- I feel like I shouldn't be having these issues but I am.

Attached is the entire modlist. None of these mods are incompatible with DH. Those that are (like Chunky) are not being used, just installed.

Any help would be appreciated- thanks 😄 .
