Mobile Backup Process Stuck
Hi, I need help with the following issue. It's my first time using Immich, so everything is freshly installed, no postgresql migration involved.
Problem:
- Photos upload fine in the beginning. The "backup" number increases. But after a while, the upload stuck. After waited for awhile, it seem like it doesn't resolve itself so I pressed the cancel button, then pressed backup again and it did continue loading. However, now the Total, Backup, and Remainder doesn't move at all. just the upload bar moving.
- Further observation 1: if I cancel now and press backup again, I noticed that it start the upload from the beginning again.
- Further observation 2: After trying a couple more times, the Backup row will randomly increase 1-2 photos.
Setup:
- First time use. Everything fresh installed
- Platform: Kubernetes
- Hardware: Raspberry PI 5
- CNPG postgresql + vectorchord. Image: ghcr.io/tensorchord/cloudnative-vectorchord:16.9-0.3.0
- DB uses local storage running on NVME
- Photos uses NFS storage
- Immich v1.134.0 installed through helm
- Redis installed together with Immich through helm
- Service exposed and accessed over https with valid certificate

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Just leave it be until it finishes, it can take a while
It won't re-upload assets that are already on the server if you have uploaded through a different way
Thanks for the prompt reply @Mraedis . As I go through the check list, I found that the upload works if I connect through local network instead of HTTPS. So I can use VPN + local network when I’m out and about. I’m still observing and see if I can figure out what happened here.
Strange though.. it works fine over HTTPS earlier. Until it doesn’t. But still works over local network though…
