oh im new sry i will use them
you count the distance from when the train's front gets on the bridge till when the back of the train gets off the bridge
so S= 1000m
but what eq should i use
when the whole train gets off, the front of it will have covered 150 m (its length extra in addition to the bridge length
yes
its constant velocity so you can just use distance=speed*time
oh wait
is that all
if you want to relate to the equations of motion you can use the second one and put a=0 then you get the same
yes
1000/45
convert the speed to m/s if needed as per the options in the question
ok
multiply it by 5/18
(the speed)
oh ok
so i get 25/2
12.5
tht is
yea
yea divide 1000 by this
then you get the time in seconds
80 seconds
yep thx so much guys
youre welcome
tace care
yea thx once again
you can close this thread now
oh ok
