one of my goals for 2022 is to get my podcast to 10K downloads/mo. (today i’m at about 5K/mo.) part of my plan for getting to 10K includes having more “famous” guests on the show. i expect that some proportion of my well-known guests will share their episode on my podcast with their audience, thus helping grow my audience. (this has happened in the past and i’d like it to happen more.)
having said that, does anybody have any suggestions for well-known programmers who i could invite onto my podcast? i’ve already had kent beck, sandi metz, michael hartl, chris oliver, kelsey hightower, kent c dodds and some others on the show. i’ve also invited matz, DHH and martin fowler, all of whom have not said yes. i’m trying to think of who else but not having an easy time.
(and btw i know that un-famous people can make great guests too. i haven’t limited myself to well-known guests in the past and i won’t in the future. but right at the moment i’m focusing on well-known guests.)

[2021-11-24 04:09:17 AM] : jasonswett... I've no idea about sw devs (sorry!) but on my show I've had some repeat guests. Might be an easy win. Another thing I do is to get previous guests to suggest and then introduce me to other guests. Couple of "easy win" tactics for you to consider.
