[2022-02-03 06:19:04 PM] : did you ever do a paid consulting call for one of those expert networks? It's very tempting, but these convos seem like a big waste of time to me. Would like to know if other folks had this experience.
IMO it's always some investor wanting to figure out if the last few startups you worked for had product-market fit and if they should make a copycat, fund a competitor or invest in this specific market.
It all seems pretty fishy to me, but they're happy to pay $400 for one hour of your time. :man-shrugging:

The only reason I can think of is if you feel that could reflect badly on your reputation but I believe as long as you're providing honest information based on your experience or expertise you shouldn't worry about that.
