[2022-02-11 12:55:52 PM] : alex question for you about formats. for a long time i’ve been fixated on the idea that the next product i’m going to create will be a course. now i’m wondering if i’m harmfully limiting myself. i personally am not the kind of person who takes programming courses, and every time i try to work on mine, it feels forced, and i’m never very happy with what i’ve created.
so i’m thinking about what other types of products exist that can be perceived in the $X00-$X000 range. the one other thing i can think of is “screencasts” which are still educational videos but maybe don’t have the same constraints as a course.
to summarize what i’m thinking, i’m very happy with how successful my book has been and now i want to create the next rung on my product ladder, but i’m feeling shaky on what format that product might take.
are there any other product formats besides courses and screencasts that i’m not thinking of that could help me achieve my product ladder objective?
