<@U036HQ571NK> maybe

[2022-03-18 01:19:02 AM] : lnlrz maybe this points to a worldview of your own? I mean why does this trigger you so much? Why do you even have to get past it? I know these band-aid solutions but I guess there might be multiple reasons why people suggest them: they don't have time, they don't benefit (financially) from going deep and providing a real solution, they maybe don't know better. All these are great opportunities for you: if you benefit from a good answer (financially) you can take your time. And if you're one of the few who are willing and capable of providing good solutions you might have an easy time establishing a reputation in your watering holes. If there's a question with bad answers you can politely point that out and provide a better solution. Like "there are some great approaches here but they might cause problem XYZ. Here is my solution that has the advantage ZYX."

[2022-03-18 10:37:05 AM] : Thanks for the insight, Johannes. I'll try pointing that out more explicitly — perhaps I've been starting out too strong with "X won't solve the problem" rather than putting myself in their shoes first before providing the answers. (politely, for that matter) You have a point there about opportunities...since most people in the watering holes are probably too busy doing their own stuff to answer, too (just like what Maxim shared) so someone more thoughtful could stand out easily...
