IMO there’s not real

[2022-03-27 10:40:36 AM] : IMO there’s not really a right or wrong way to share that stuff and i don’t believe it makes much of a difference how it’s shared, the more important thing is that it’s shared. for me this sort of thing falls into the “don’t overthink it” category!

[2022-03-28 01:15:26 PM] : I'd also agree with this - not really a wrong way to do this. A few things you might do include: • giving people an idea of what's discussed in the recording, so they know why they'd invest the time listening • summarizing a couple of the key takeaways for them, to give them a taste of whats inside • convert any or all of the points you made (or that others made and you'd like to build on or react to) into standalone articles, with references to the original recording. [2022-03-28 01:28:23 PM] : Jason's other suggestion about building a "speaking" page (or something like it) to keep stuff like that organized, and reference across various articles/etc, is a good one. I've got something similar here: https://dangerouslyawesome.com/appearances [2022-03-28 01:48:01 PM] : Thank you both! As it happens, I already have a page for "talks" that I had partly forgot about (thanks pandemic) and also I had built up "talk" to mean refereed conference presentations only. It's now obvious that's the right space for the panel recording—I've already got a decent template, even:bulb::smile: [2022-03-28 01:52:32 PM] :  [2022-03-28 01:52:58 PM] : when telling readers about the new one, never hurts to let 'em know about the others too!
