Greetings , I
[2022-05-14 12:30:41 PM] : Greetings , I have a few questions about the SDB (Safari Detective Board):
• Is SDB effective / used for all types of pain in one session or just one type of pain? "Pain about Promises" (JavaScript), for example, is specific.
• Does SDB necessarily require a large amount of data, such as painstorming pains?

[2022-05-14 01:04:44 PM] : I would recommend doing it with post it's or index cards. People often try software and don't get as much out of it b/c it's harder to see everything at once. There are subtle, tactile benefits of doing it analog. Once you have practice you may experiment with digital versions but I would advise against cheating yourself while learning.
[2022-05-14 01:05:45 PM] : For your other questions, the thing to remember is that there isn't a “right or wrong” answer here. It's a process for examining what you have.
[2022-05-14 01:06:34 PM] : So it's okay to try it ALL of the ways you mentioned. Possibly others too!
[2022-05-14 01:07:24 PM] : If you don't see any patterns yet, try a different kind of arrangement. Or add more pains. Or group them differently. All valid answers.
[2022-05-14 01:07:51 PM] : The goal isn't to “do it right” it's to understand the clues you found in new ways.
[2022-05-14 01:08:09 PM] : And let your brain do what it does best, find patterns and meaning.
[2022-05-14 01:27:27 PM] : Thank you for your insights! I'll try it out :slightly_smiling_face:
