[2022-06-09 05:55:47 PM] : The CBC version? It was 4-weeks, meeting lessons happened twice a week, plus an optional office hours time. Offered a community plus bonus resources (curated external articles/videos) for anyone that wanted to dive into a topic further.

[2022-06-09 05:57:59 PM] : i actually did do that once and it worked pretty well. it happened to be 4 weeks also. although the experience made me realize that the thing i’m teaching requires WAY more than 4 weeks to learn

[2022-06-09 09:45:06 PM] : the way we taught 30x500 before 2015 was basically variants of cohort based courses, and the 30x500 we offer today could not exist WITHOUT having taught it that way.
the feedback loop of "small" group live instruction is the BEST way to build off-the-shelf instruction. i stand by that, full stop.
