[2022-07-03 07:38:51 AM] : So I'm working on a book infoproduct that I plan to sell for $99 (to choose a nice, round number that is similar to existing products such as Refactoring UI).
How do you balance the writing of the book chapters against the marketing potential of posting the book chapters as blog posts online?
I feel like I could get a lot of attention (and most importantly, feedback) for individual book chapters, but that would also give my product away.
Is there a nice compromise? Such as blurring out half of the blog post, or selling additional coaching packages on top of the book once it's done? Maybe I could poll my email list for folks interested in beta reading?

[2022-07-03 11:34:41 AM] : my approach with Pure React was to publish a few of the chapters or sections of chapters as standalone blog posts. Probably would've been wise to mention “this is a sample from my upcoming book” but I don't think I did that.

[2022-07-07 03:07:35 AM] : Like 30x500 maybe? Make the paid product the full thing. The free stuff is the high level
blueprints which are useful but not
step by step everything. Anyone who values their time will pay for the full thing instead of piecing together free stuff.
