So I'm curious about best practices surrounding: • Best ways to collect and prioritize feedback • When should I start charging • How to manage weekly dev team sprints • How to balance technical debt vs. building new features vs. incorporating feedback (improvements) [2022-07-15 07:52:14 AM] : Okay so it's tough to make good recommendations without knowing any real details about the product, who it's for, etc and most generalized advice only goes so far. But a couple of suggestions: [2022-07-15 07:53:36 AM] : • don't wait to start charging. it's not even about revenue, but about focusing your information signals on actual customers rather than would-be customers. As soon as you are reliably solving a problem they have, you can charge for it. [2022-07-15 07:59:00 AM] : • gathering and prioritizing feedback gets a bit easier (and much more reliable) when you know you're getting it from customers vs people who haven't and will never buy. For early stage where you have a relatively small number of people to talk to, you're gonna want to do your research conversationally and observationally. Find ways to watch them use the product and give them reasons to ask YOU questions, not just you asking them about it. Find out what they are trying to do, not just focused on your product. Workshops and clinics and education are great for creating fast feedback loops. Live demos with q&amp;a too. Almost anything to get into a situation where you can learn by watching and listening, rather than being the one asking questions. Yeah that's what I'm doing re: feedback. i do a recorded zoom session and watch them figure the product out, fail, ask me questions, etc. I've read Mom Test, will check out Michele's book too! For product, I found a good book/coach called Lean Product Playbook by Dan Olsen, good advice so far. Thank you again!
