But the mixtape is..
[2022-11-16 11:02:33 AM] : But the mixtape is... basically just the newsletter. So the standard unsubscribe is the right option in most cases I can think of.

[2022-11-16 11:56:02 AM] : fair point
[2022-11-28 05:01:40 AM] : since it's just the newsletter - after all the greatest hits ebombs, do you just add your new ebomb emails to the end?
[2022-11-28 11:02:28 AM] : I do that yes
[2022-11-28 01:22:15 PM] : that's a totally okay option, but sometimes we want a new post to go out sooner and/or control where in the mixtape it lands.
in those cases, I'll either send it as a broadcast and then either add it to the end, or put it into the mixtape where I want it and "reset" the sequence using an automation that pulls everyone out and puts them back in. with the latter, folks will skip emails they already got and "land" wherever the newly inserted email is in the sequence, and after that pick up where they left off.
[2022-11-29 02:03:09 AM] : That’s a neat trick! I’ve been wondering how to do that because sometimes I too want folks to receive an article right away and want to put not at the end of the mixtape. I didn’t know ConvertKit will not send the same email twice if someone re-enters a sequence, but I guess it makes sense with the “No, only allow subscribers to receive emails once” option selected
How do you prevent them getting the same email twice? (from the broadcast and mixtape)
[2022-11-29 03:29:13 AM] : Oh that's clever - it sounds like you're okay with them getting the broadcast + a duplicate email from the mixtape (probably months/years later)
Will try the sequence "reset" some time.
[2022-11-29 01:48:00 PM] : yep, we've never had anyone complain about dupes and more often, people note it positively like "this is a favorite, thanks for the reminder right when I needed it!"
[2022-11-29 01:48:11 PM] : i don't really worry about repeating myself anymore. if anything, it's a good thing, within bounds of reason.
