For anyone who's for

[2023-01-20 07:06:54 AM] : For anyone who's formed an LLC for their online business, what naming strategy would you recommend? On one hand, the simplest is <your name> LLC. On the other hand, you could do something funny, like Team Pineapple Pizza LLC. Or something related to your work, like Lexaloffle Games LLP. (It seems that a relation to your existing social media handles are also important.) Any tips would be much appreciated! :slightly_smiling_face:

[2023-01-20 07:22:42 AM] : I just went with Jason Tu LLC but would still love to hear suggestions  since one can change the name easily [2023-01-20 08:55:58 AM] : I did my name, hasn't been a problem (yet! :slightly_smiling_face: ) [2023-01-20 11:29:22 AM] : I did Zorn Labs LLC but I don’t market the name anywhere. It’s just for contracts and the like. :man-shrugging: [2023-01-20 11:38:15 AM] : I used Tiny Wins LLC and same, it’s on the footer of my sites but I don’t really mention the company name much. It’s also currently a passthrough LLC, so as far as US taxes are concerned, it doesn’t exist. [2023-01-20 12:38:51 PM] : I did Spread Rest LLC, as in JS syntax { ...rest } [2023-01-20 12:39:24 PM] : taxed as an s-corp in order to save a bit on self-employment tax [2023-01-20 12:52:45 PM] : S-corp election is on my to-do list too! [2023-01-20 12:55:15 PM] : [i can't recommend Collective enough for a very hands-off s-corp experience especially if you don't have a CPA/tax pro. DM if you want my referral link to that, they'll give you one month free with it] [2023-01-20 06:26:55 PM] : I did my company name. Remote Work Prep LLC. Makes it easy to fill out docs and people know who it came from. One of my clients has a funny name one and it's constantly causing issues. People forget what it is, who it came from, etc. Glad I kept mine basic.
