[2023-03-30 08:28:08 PM] : Joseph Machado here’s what I did on my launch, this was for a product I had never launched before. I had zero testimonials. When the doors opened (I think I had a one-week get it before the doors close sequence) I had a few sales on day 1. I immediately wrote and sent a personal email to each. Made sure they clearly understood it was not automated. I got 1 stellar testimonial and a few decent ones. I took the stellar testimonial and quickly incorporated it into the remaining doors open sequence. I’m sure that helped sales before doors closed. I’ve now extended that a bit. I’ve found when my audience is “in the moment” with positive, happy feelings about my product, they respond with positive testimonials. For the ask, i didn’t ask for a testimonial specifically, instead I asked one question: “why did you buy this?“. The answers were the testimonials. Hope that helps.
