I'm struggling to get back on the process after having found a cushy day job. I find that it's creatively demanding (which I love) and that nice pay cheque also keeps me from making progress on 30x500.
I know really well that I could have F*ck this moment when things change and I don't want to restart the program again. I've noticed a lot of people on here who take the course keep coming back to it (sometimes after years!).
My challenges in particular is putting in the 8 hours at work and then also managing the other aspects of life which are also demanding. Things like social life, decompressing after work, relationships and keeping my health in order.
I've been on the search for some answers. One of them is how Jeff Bezos sees "work/life balance" which he treats like a circle. But that works great if you went full time on your side hustle.
Then I tried searching on reddit for some answers, I came across this thread which had a comment resonated with me:
"Couldn't agree more, especially as it relates to (i) prioritization & (ii) looking at everything (including your health) as a single integrated system.
one of the biggest challenges when it comes to building a product based side-hustle and working a highly demanding job is time. This is further magnified when there are other things in life that require this precious resource - e.g., health, key relationships.
I've found the most effective way to tackle this is to have a system that allows you to prioritize what is truly important and making sure it gets scheduled into your calendar.
This also includes those non-work priorities like health & relationships.
I think to achieve any form of long-term "success", it requires intent & progress.
