Hey folks,Are ther

[2023-06-18 04:49:32 PM] : Hey folks, Are there any e-bombs on how to go from full time jobs to doing 30x500 type work full time? I don’t think I can increase my income from 30x500 to equal my current salary doing it a few hours a week. Would be great to see some stories or steps on how others have done this.

[2023-06-18 05:46:39 PM] : Amy has talked about this a bunch over the years. I had a couple things bookmarked: This one’s old, but it’s about finding/creating more time: https://stackingthebricks.com/30x500/30x500-slay-your-schedule.pdf And I know they just shared something about negotiating with your job to go down to 4 days/week. It might have been launch content or related to Launch FTW… [2023-06-18 05:48:05 PM] : https://stackingthebricks.com/guest-post-how-30x500-alum-chris-hartjes-bootstraps-on-the-side/ https://stackingthebricks.com/startup-escape-plan-free-up-time-energy-money-to-invest/ Hope those help! [2023-06-18 06:40:39 PM] : Thanks Danielle Baird you beat me to it! [2023-06-18 06:48:19 PM] : Thank you Danielle Baird! I’m at a corp job, but its pretty intense, perhaps time to consider consulting. [2023-12-05 07:48:34 AM] : From experience, consulting definitely pays better, Joseph Machado. However, it’s very easy to end up with several clients (well, that’s the whole point - to have a portfolio of clients). What then tends to happen, is you work fractionally with multiple clients, and that context switching really eats away at “out of work” time and concentration. I personally found it much harder to do 30x500 while doing consulting. But, if you’re able to replace some clients with 30x500 work (even time-wise), it’s definitely a way out.
