I am starting on cre

[2023-07-12 10:09:53 PM] : I am starting on creating my first actual e-bomb. I am pretty new to the position that I am working in now, but I was going to use that as my professional demographic. Is it still possible to actually make valuable content while I am still new to this type of position? Would I just have to mostly target people trying to work in the field? For reference the role is for Site Reliability Engineering

[2023-07-13 12:18:08 AM] : Definitely. You have the beginner’s perspective which most experts lack due to the “curse of knowledge” [2023-07-13 06:18:29 AM] : in my case i had to choose an audience that was new to me (something that i really want to get in to), because it's the only way i can keep myself engaged and follow through with doing the work every day. [2023-07-13 06:19:34 AM] : i do notice that my writing lacks some context and i know there must be solutions to some world view questions i have. at the same time a few months in and I'm already filling many of these gaps, knowledge comes pretty fast. [2023-07-13 06:20:25 AM] : what matters is that this audience does buy stuff and that you can put the work in consistently. imo. i had the same question starting out. [2023-07-15 09:45:53 AM] : Maxim Sorry about the late reply. I guess maybe I am not understanding what I can provide as a beginner. Just a different perspective overall? [2023-07-15 09:46:37 AM] : krister viirsaar Do you feel as though you are able to still give relevant information despite being newer? And I am assuming you are just constantly doing research then [2023-07-16 10:37:05 PM] : Zachary Mahl You don’t have to be an expert to help others. You just have to be one step ahead of where they want to be [2023-07-21 12:51:35 PM] : what Maxim said. also you cannot assume you know what is needed from the community. just because you found your answers doesn't mean the next guy on the same path even has the same question (or equal googling skills). a friend of mine spent 2 years building another QE code generator!!! started 2021!! after he became successful he said his biggest insight was "the internet is so much bigger than i thought, it's as if it's infinite". meaning we're all just putting a piece of wallpaper in space. you offer what you can offer and make friends online. [2023-07-21 12:53:44 PM] : relevant information: so ultimately i have a lot of questions about my new field. A LOT. i literally don't know where to start (even after 9 posts). this is because.. well i don't really know why maybe. but the fact is i have the same damn question that everyone starts with and i can't find a clear answer. i haven't found the right sources, the right way of thinking, my google is off basically. so while i'm writing the same stuff as more experienced and educated people - i refer to them but basically summarize what has actually helped people online. win win. [2023-07-21 12:54:02 PM] : does any of this make sense? i'm really only discovering it myself, but i say being new is fine and works dandy.
