[2023-07-17 12:17:04 PM] : Maxim since you specifically mention "getting into flow" one of the things that I've seen work is to do whatever it takes to get a shitty first draft down on paper. that can include outlining, dictating audio, even writing unrelated stuff (like journaling). a lot of the time, the struggle comes from trying to write the finished product before you've written the rough draft.

[2023-07-18 01:55:34 AM] : Thank you Alex. Separating the writer from the editor (critic) in my head is something I’m still working on. For the last 6 months I’ve been journaling for 10min every morning and that’s been quite effortless. Perhaps because I know it’ll never be published or read by anyone else (even I don’t go back to read most of the stuff). Maybe it’s also the pen &amp; paper medium which makes it harder to go back and edit.
