I think this has com
[2023-08-08 12:35:30 PM] : I think this has come up before and the advice was “just ignore it”, but asking anyway - partly to vent.
A less successful creator is taking my content, re-writing it (using an AI thing I think) and publishing it as their own newsletter. Any recommendations on actions, ranging from “public shaming” through “have a quiet word” to “walk away”?

[2023-08-08 10:42:12 PM] : I haven’t had this exact situation happen to me, but I’ve had a few other copy-cats.
One of them that I called out publicly, mind you, 1 (and only 1) twitter post was me calling them out publicly. Nothing more. They got very angry, privately sent me legal threats, threatened to email various platforms I work with detailing my harassment of them, etc… I never once responded to any of it. They went away.
The other one, they’ve been continually copying me since last Sept. (2022). They’ve been called out, but just continue. It’s been frustrating to say the least.
I have a contrarian view. I’ve call these people out, publicly, and then don’t engage with them afterwards. I make it known that they are just copy-cats, leave it at that, and walk away (very difficult).
