Feeling a little stu
[2023-10-19 12:03:19 PM] : Feeling a little stuck :raincloud: and would love some advice/input from you!
I've kept my eBomb streak going since this summer, I'm on week 14 now of weekly newsletter/blog posts. Newsletter sits at a modest email subscriber count of 65. I still enjoy writing the weekly pieces.
However: I'm very burnt out on social media stuff at the moment. There's some personal life stuff that's sapping more energy than usual, and my social media/watering hole activity took the hit. I had daily cadence of tweets + replying and comments, but last couple of weeks, the last thing I want to do is to "engage online"._ Last two weeks of my twitter timeline is just daily Hypefury reposts of my evergreen stuff from last couple of months.
And it looks like my newsletter sub growth suffers from it: I ticked steadily up since summer but last couple of weeks, coinciding with being inactive on Twitter, my email list subscriber count hasn't moved at all.
Have any of you dealt with similar situations?

[2023-10-19 12:04:27 PM] : I definitely see a correlation with amount of effort spent online posting/talking and my sub count
[2023-10-19 12:05:01 PM] : For what it's worth, after slowing for a while and coming back, it feels like everything is back to normal with no strong repercussions, so if you need to take a bit of a break, take it
[2023-10-19 12:44:34 PM] : First, I'll +1 to what Jacob said - taking breaks is not only okay, it's important, you're not starting from scratch when you come back.
[2023-10-19 12:45:52 PM] : Second, the other burnout coping technique besides taking a break is to change something rather than stopping completely.
[2023-10-19 12:48:54 PM] : use this as a time to invest in other things like:
• finding new watering holes and conversations (including ones that aren't Twitter/social media)
• looking at other parts of the 30x500 process, i.e. if you haven't started exploring part 2 and working on synthesizing what you've learned on Safari and starting to fixstorm some potential tiny products you can work on
• tuning up or upgrading your past ebombs, including your CTAs, adding something to your emails that encourage readers to share, etc. etc.
[2023-10-19 12:51:53 PM] : whenever I'm feeling stuck, my first instinct is to "zoom out" and pick something else that moves the ball forward. if that does't help after trying one or two other things, it's time for a break!
[2023-10-19 01:03:16 PM] : Thanks guys, this was helpful :+1: :+1:
