I'd lean towards one

[2023-12-08 11:39:40 AM] : I'd lean towards one of the shorter ones - probably easier to type and say out loud without needing to spell it!

[2023-12-08 11:52:08 AM] : Thank you for the "spelling" perspective. I totally missed that. There are literally a ton of Prabus. Would a prabu.in cause ambiguity? Is it enough to use the title and description meta tags to disambiguate? [2023-12-08 11:52:46 AM] : if I could get alex.anything, I would! [2023-12-08 11:53:43 AM] : domain is only a tiny slice of how people find you. the contents of your ebombs is much more important. [2023-12-08 11:55:12 AM] : Absolutely - totally agree. I suffer from the "naming" shiny-object syndrome! [2023-12-08 11:55:37 AM] : yup  if you can get a short and easy to remember/type domain, you've won the game [2023-12-08 11:57:38 AM] : That works. Thank you, Alex. [2023-12-08 01:30:26 PM] : I agree with Alex, short is good, especially if you're going to have to spell it anyway. Avoid hyphens I'm sick to death of spelling my email address too people. I'd prioritise "sayable" for a personal brand. I'd only consider SEO (having the keywords in the domain) for niched products (it can help your ranking)

[2023-12-08 01:47:45 PM] : You can also buy multiple domains and have them forward to the main one. I think I read somewhere that people often type what they think the website is .com. For example, my main product site is rubyonmac.dev, but I also have rubyonmac.com, installrubyonmac.com, and some others that all redirect to rubyonmac.dev

[2023-12-08 01:50:22 PM] : That makes a lot of sense. Curious-me thinks it might be interesting to setup a tiny app that would log the traffic and then do a redirect. Pragmatic-me then says "no Graham, there are more valuable things to work on" [2023-12-08 02:17:13 PM] : Yeah there isn’t much you can do with that logged traffic, you’d def be better off putting that time into something that serves your customers/audience
