[2023-12-10 06:06:31 AM] : I recently decided to get back into 30x500 as I finally started to position my little agency and work out plans to grow it a bit, so it is not completely dependant on me alone.
Now it’s my turn to define the audience - I know this is not forever and not a big deal. But i would please need help from someone more experienced if my train of thoughts makes sense:
1. The service offering of our agency is (wordpress) webdesign and web development.
2. Currently, we are targeting marketing agencies to deliver white label work (we do website builds, technical support and wordpress maintenance for them) as well as business owners, that need a new website. I’d like to work towards “Websites with an ROI” but we want to try this on our own website first to gain the know-how before we offer that to our customers.
I see 30x500 as a way to work towards our own products, besides getting more traffic to pitching our current service offering.
Would I now choose Wordpress Webdesigners / Wordpress Developers when I actually would want to write for those I currently serve? So people who have or need a website but would hire a web developer like me.
The reason why this bothers me more than it probably should is, that I also want to use the ebombs I’ll create to position ourselves as expert in that field and get some leads for our webdesign services

[2023-12-10 09:17:50 AM] : That’s what I was thinking, I might have misundertood what Alex & Amy said in the video about the Audience. I had the feeling it should be Webdesigners/Developers because WebDesigners/Developers have customers.
But actually I don’t think I want to target developers - as i want to help my customers grow with the help of my services / future products

[2023-12-10 10:13:12 AM] : Thank you itamar! I think I’ll spend a few hours researching watering holes for “business owners” - there are for sure tons of communities out there. Maybe I need to niche down, but I’m not sure about that.
