like every small pie

[2024-01-30 06:50:59 PM] : like every small piece of 30x500, these tiny steps might seem like "going through the motions for the sake of an exercise" but that's exactly what practice starts like! I liken it to learning to drive or play an instrument. early on the individual steps feel uncertain, unnatural, and contrived. with repetition and deliberate practice where every version improves, it starts to feel more natrual. I'd encourage you to try a few mini PDF upgrades to your end of post newsletter CTAs, and share your before/afters in <#C0BBSM6AH|ebombs-away> for some tips & feedback. PDF can be practiced in so many places outside of full on pitches. the key here is to start small and practice, get in the habit, and improve every time! I'd encourage you to try and share some before/after attempts in

[2024-01-31 04:04:32 AM] : Thank you for the answer! This framing of “mini PDF upgrades” actually makes it much clearer for me. I think what was tripping me is that in the previous video lesson, CTA was just a short sentence sandwiched in between dreams (screenshot), i.e. just “buy my ___“. So when I got to the CTA Action challenge, I: 1. went through the 41 examples, that was great. 2. wrote my own examples (that was easy after seeing 41 examples) 3. Then when I got to improving them I felt lost. I started scrolling back and reading the PDF again but couldn’t find a single example of a CTA, let alone a before/after example. 4. I started thinking “we didn’t talk about this, it was just a short generic sentence fragment in the PDF arc, what am I supposed to do with that?“. 5. And then I wrote here. Now, in retrospect, yes I could have definitely gotten the point that you’re talking about the whole PDF arc with a C inside, but for whatever reason my mind never made the connection at all. [File hidden by Slack limit] [2024-01-31 10:28:58 AM] : all good, glad it clicked now!
