Im not entirely sure

[2024-04-22 10:12:51 AM] : Im not entirely sure of the change in conversion rate but here is my hypothesis I didn't post on social media for the last 3 months => page visits drop But the conversion rate shot up. My hypothesis is people organically finding my e-bombs convert better and actually have higher LTV. has anyone else seen this pattern? or am I making a wrong assumption here. Since if this is true, I can focus less on social media.

Got a large traffic surge but it converted really poorly. It's almost certainly not universally true as there are people building a business almost exclusively on social media traffic. But I guess it's a decision for you to make: to improve social media conversion or to focus on channels that are working better for you. I've myself put less effort into social media, at least for now, mainly because it's easier and I'm pretty sure I have still have huge room for improvement in those other channels. [2024-04-23 12:51:25 PM] : TY Alex. I do prefer participating in watering hole discussions. Twitter/Linkedin (places I usually post) seem to convert poorly and I see people who get a lot of likes tend to game the system. I am leaning more towards discussion/listening v broadcasting which seems like shouting in the void most times. [2024-04-23 01:41:21 PM] : Bingo! [2024-04-23 01:49:02 PM] : Oh, Joseph, that observation resonates with me. There are people who post engaging content on social media and it’s good content. But when I try to emulate it, it just doesn’t sound like me. Feels strange. Where as the posts and communication in forums and discussions do feel very “me”, if that makes sense? [2024-04-23 01:55:03 PM] : It really does Radan. The direct comm/conversation feel like delivering a clear soln (reddit/slack/discord, etc) I have tried some social media content aimed (google justin welsh how to write linkedin posts) at engagement, it works but feels strange (as you say), since I am personally not a big fan of that approach.
