Not sure if this is

[2024-05-30 01:55:52 PM] : Not sure if this is the right channel, hopefully this is ok to post. But what is your area of focus for 30x500? I've seen various examples throughout the course and others outside of 30x500 but am interested in learning what other participants are doing, reading people's blogs, newsletters, etc.

[2024-05-30 01:57:40 PM] : I started with digital nomads with pets (have since stopped that one), stumbled into writing about freelance engineering/software consulting, and now think I'll focus on browser extension development. I started a technical blog mainly to help my job search but have been using it to post about all sorts of things including browser extension development. I got into browser extension development last year for funsies after getting frustrated one too many times with my experiences on certain websites and wanting to just fix them.

[2024-05-30 02:25:36 PM] : I’m mostly about things related to Google Ads [2024-05-30 03:25:59 PM] : I recently chose Founders and Technology Leaders working with Ruby on Rails as my target audience. [2024-05-31 11:33:08 AM] : I have a blog with most posts written in Vietnamese to convert readers to my course called "Breaking into Product Management" (also taught in Vietnamese) [2024-05-31 03:13:59 PM] : My focus is intermediate to experienced ruby and ruby on rails developers. [2024-06-02 06:29:23 PM] : It's been evolving. The current target is Series C+ startup executives who are unhappy with the state and cost of their technology.

[2024-06-03 12:35:20 AM] : My main audience has been Figma UI/UX Designers. But with my new product AudiowaveAI.com a lot of the early customers are developers and engineering leaders. So I might double down on that. It's an audience I understand really well, but Safari can really help remind me of the pain points of keeping around up-to-date and learning

[2024-06-03 07:43:37 AM] : I help amateur racing drivers work out how to drive their cars faster on track. It doesn't technically pass the test but we discussed it here before i switched to them as they are a "prosumer" audience. Like amateur photographers. Its definitely hard to choose an audience like this imho! largely given any purchase is from personal income. [2024-06-05 12:07:37 PM] : There are a lot of car enthusiasts and they do spend lots of money on their cars. They do hangout online and probably do buy educational materials. They buy a lot of sim racing stuff too [2024-06-05 12:13:23 PM] : Yep. That was the thinking when I made the switch. [2024-06-05 12:15:13 PM] : I like the simple value prop there too

[2024-06-05 12:34:41 PM] : Great job there! I see you have lots of material on your newsletters and even have a podcast :star-struck:. I've got a few customers who are newsletter owners that convert their writing to audio with my tool audiowaveai.com -- give it a try, I'd be honoured to help too. From a extreme sports person perspective (myself), I typically turn to Youtube for learning anything. Like surfing, snowboarding, windsurfing etc. For cycling (biking) I do have a favourite channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuTaETsuCOkJ0H_GAztWt0Q -- if you can create something fun like that for race drivers :exploding_head:

[2024-06-05 12:35:36 PM] : For cars, I guess it's anything with Jeremy Clarkson in it :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: [2024-06-06 06:20:12 AM] : michael567 you should connect with dceddia if you haven't already. His app https://getrecut.com/ [2024-06-06 06:24:34 AM] : michael567 that YouTube looks fun indeed. I've done (quite) a bit in wider sports (paceinsights.com) and if you like cycling then I had my friend (and former employee) Dan Bigham on the podcast. He knows a thing or two about performance and is pretty famous now in the cycling world apparently. YT is definitely something I'm looking at.
