[2024-06-14 10:57:36 AM] : Something to consider: exec summary apps like Blinkist don't reduce the number of books read, quite the opposite! A lot of the folks who use these tools weren't reading the books in the first place and a notable % liked the summary enough that they chose to read the book

[2024-06-14 11:24:39 AM] : I'm definitely in this camp. I only read 8 - 10 nonfiction books a year, but I use Blinkist as a first pass to see if I want to go deeper with a full read.
