pinging ingame
i quit playing for a few months due to school related stuff (like i stopped playing before clove or abyss even joined the game) and whenever i pressed Z (the ping button) anywhere ingame, it would show on my screen AND the minimap, i played a game two days ago and everytime i pinged or a teammate pinged, i only saw it on the minimap and not on the actual ground, whats that about?

@a' it was determined that the system of being able to ping on the map and having it show up in game was unfair and gave a combat advantage, so they removed that feature and you can only make pings appear in the game by clicking z, or checking minimap for teammates who ping using the map, otherwise the pings wont show up if used by the (m) minimap
ohhhh so it still appears on my crosshair if i press Z?
yes it does
you cant ping through smokes which was what valorant devs intended the ping system for use
