Hey mate! This is because of a hidden sort of stat called MMR. It's kind of like a hidden rank and it determines how much rr you lose, win, get for a draw, and who you get matched with as well! If you have very low MMR, you will get much less RR and vice versa!
if there is anything else you have questions on then hit me up!
maybe ur to good
the one who got 27 RR is the last place in almost every game, the first is almost the first in every game
so shouldn't the first's MMR be higher and the last have lower MMR and also get less?
i wonder if them sharing the name somehow bugged out or smth
Lets say you have very low MMR, this just means your skill level isn't very up to par, if this person gets top frag, they will likely get more RR as the game is more like "well this guy doesn't always do good but now he did well against opponents with higher MMR so we can reward him more". MMR is not per game, (EX: if you do good in one game) its a collective of all your skill. so if someone with high RR beats a whole bunch of people with low RR, its kinda like if a (over exaggerated) Radiant beat a gold player so they get less. If someone with less MMR (or generally a worse player) beats a higher, they get more RR (kinda like a reverse of the original scenario)
if you have anymore questions I would love to answer!
oh so this game it kinda counts as him beating good players so he got rewarded more while the rest won against players of similar MMR so they got less correct?
I believe so, no one can really tell MMR but my guess is all those people below him (the silver players) had high MMR
what about the bronze player (KJ) who also got 12? (they are definitely better than the one who got 27 in more games so they should've gotten more RR to match their MMR no?
i suppose MMR is too vague
But thanks a lot that answered my question well :)
So I think your getting a little bit confused, if that bronze guy has "high" RR, that means he is talented, and therefore the sameish skill level as the other guys. If he got 12 it probably means he has really high MMR which basically means he is much better then everyone else (ex a really good player beating up worse players lol)
