Playing games from a shared NTFS drive. Bazzite42
Hello, I am currently working on launching Steam games that I have installed onto a shared NTFS drive. The games were originally installed on windows, I can reinstall on Bazzite (which I have tried with one) onto the shared drive if it helps functionality.
When I run "lsblk -f" I can see the drive
sdb
└─sdb2 ntfs Main Disk 440C799F0C798D24 /var/mnt/main-disk
I am also able to see the drive in fstab
UUID=440C799F0C798D24 /mnt/main-disk ntfs-3g defaults,uid=1000,gid=1000,windows_names,locale=en_US.utf8>
Steam can also see the directory on the drive, when I added the path to steam storage it instantly scanned and recognized the games on the drive.
Please let me know what other information I can provide.
