Extremely low 1.7.10 TPS
Hello! I run a small, self-hosted forge server for me and my friends on 1.7.10 as it has some mods we cannot find on other versions. For some reason, the server's TPS deteriorates (Sometimes lower than 1 TPS) after a variable amount of time running and does not recover. Usually with players online, sometimes without. My PC is more than capable of running a server, does anyone have any thoughts?

Add some better flags, maybe increase the ram to 8gb instead of 6gb
old forge versions are basically impossible to give better tps unless you know exactly WHAT is causing the errors
Are there any logs I could look at?
!spark spark reports can help
Spark Profiler
Spark can be used to see why your server or client is lagging.
Users can share a spark report via
/spark profiler start --timeout 300
which creates a report after 5 minutes. The spark report is useful in debugging why your server is lagging, so ideally you should always provide one while asking for support.
