[Audio Issue] Game audio playing at half volume even when set on max volume in all sliders.
On an newly repaired PC running on a new AMD motherboard and discovered that my game audio is too quiet, even with every audio slider: in-game or on my system turned up to the highest it can. I have searched everywhere for a fix such as the following;
If it helps, upon testing, I discovered that with the loudness equalization turned on, swapping audio from stereo to mono temporarily increases the game volume before slowly going back down in volume.
- Turning up the volume sliders in-game and on the system
- Reinstalling Valorant and the Riot Client
- Using Windows Sound Enhancements such as Loudness Equalization/Turning it off entirely
- Turning off Communications Volume Reduction and Exclusive Mode
- Reinstalling Drivers including Audio Drivers
- Turning HRTF on and Spatial Audio off and vice versa
