One game not working with my controller
Hi ive got a controller not working with Yakuza 0 on Heroic Games Launcher but all my other controllers work fine, Yakuza 0 used to work fine with this controller until one day ago, now it wont register any input but my other games on Heroic still work fine. Any help on this would be appreciated its driving me mad. Im on steam deck and ive made sure to close steam before opening Heroic as is with all the other games

Why are you closing Steam? Also, why are you playing from desktop mode?

steam messes with my controls on every game and makes my pad not work
also i just prefer using heroic in desktop

the game recognizes my controller but wont input anything
yh i dont in gaming mode
the game shows my controller buttons, goes from the keys to buttons like a and b but won't input anything

Heroic provides no controller support. With Steam closed, you are stuck in a desktop-lite configuration. With Steam open, you can switch to a gamepad config by holding Start. The best way to ensure controller support is to actually add the game to Steam via "Add to Steam" in Heroic.
because Heroic does not provide controller support, you are beholden to whatever the game dev does to interpret the controller

ive tested other games with steam closed and it works fine with controller, its just Yakuza 0 which isn't registering inputs specifically
its recognizing the pad but isn't working, a day ago it was working
