Im getting an error code 1 every time i try to use iris. It used to work before but now its stopped

it said it was from 11:22 my time

Peculiar log. It only says something failed during last startup.
Try updating Sodium to 0.6.13, see if that changes anything.
can you send me the link to it. All i did was download iris and it had sodium

Hmm, I see that you're using the Iris + Sodium profile in the game launcher.
If that's the case, consider re-running the Iris installer, and change the installation mode from "Iris only" to "Iris + Fabric".
changed it and it still crashed
You should now get a new log named
latest.log in the same logs folder. That should now contain new information.

You still have Sodium 0.6.12 used in that log. Did you placed the downloaded Sodium somewhere else?
The mods folder should be here:
%AppData%\.minecraft\mods
Okay, now replace Sodium 0.6.12 with the downloaded Sodium 0.6.13.

Okay I can get Minecraft running with Iris 1.8.11 and Sodium 0.6.13
How is it on your end? Have you tried launching the game again?

Very peculiar.
Only difference I can think of is that you're using AMD's integrated GPU while I'm using a graphics card.

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click on the device you have and click Properties.

Virtual Desktop Monitor is not relevant. The one we're interested is AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics.
