Black Screen on launch and Freezes/Doesnt load into the main menu
Everytime I launch Val it just loads to a black screen and just stops there, it never fully loads into the launch screen

Reinstall your gpu drivers

my GPU 0 is an Intel UHD graphics im not sure how to switch it and use the NVIDIA one
Does your rtx 4060 get used when u used to play valorant/when it worked or even if you start it up?
like does it show the % of usage?
Yes it did get used when valorant used to work

even if the valorant screen still is black if it has any usage on the rtx 4060 it could either be a gpu problem or u might have the same problem as me since i kind of have something similar
but with me its just shows 2 black small screens and then goes straight to a error message val -79
it being gpu 0 means literally nothing

also idk which this is but when you reinstall drivers get a stable version not newest it should tell you which is which

it says extract
when I extrct it
it asks me to extract it again
and its a loop

Just close it
afterwards select gpu and uninstall then Intel (or AMD if your processor is by AMD) and uninstall
then reinstall your drivers
on the right select device type

Bruv the driver fixed the issue
Nothing to do with windowed mode
Delete the driver again and you’ll see it won’t load

Well it was not lmao this happens alot with players
Bruh deleting the driver wont even do tasks you sound like 5 year old
I said reinstalling drivers dont work usually you just delete and install them again that doesnt work in most of the cases
Right click on the text channel and click delete
