How to wear mid to high-rise pants.

This might be a weird question, but I’m having a hard time wearing higher rise pants. I genuinely think they look better, but I’m millennial that grew up with low-rise and everything else feels super uncomfortable. Pants just feel like they fit best low rise since they seem to just naturally fall below my belly. Is there some sort of trick to wearing a higher-rise pant to make them stay up?

Also you have to buy higher rise pants, if say you are tying to just wear low rise pants up at your waist it won’t work. Idk what kinda pants you have for this

getting the right size + belt usually works. Sizing will be different on high rise pants because they rest in different spots.

Suspenders will let you wear high rise with no added abdominal pressure- you can go up a few inches even from your waist measurement with suspenders. If you go too big in the waist and wear a belt there will be too much fabric for the belt to hold. I find low rise pants with a belt to aggravate my lower back, while high rise pants with a belt are annoying when sitting and taking deep breaths, but they can still hold up pants and look great. They should rest on a part of your body that is smaller than the part below it- that is the natural waist.

Here are suspenders worn without cover. Makes it more visually busy but if you want comfort they are great. First pic looks extra high cause my mirror was tilted.

High rise for me is at least 14” front rise measurement. Most brands selling high rise are more like a mid rise for me. Either that or they are too slim.
