Clarity on compute hours

My team is evaluating Neon to migrate from azure postgres service. I wanted to clarify how the compute hours work in Neon. In launch plan, it says 300 compute hours. Is this per month? What happens if this limit is hit just from the production branch? Thanks in advance.

On the Launch plan, you get 300 compute hours per month. After that, additional usage is billed at $0.16 per compute hour. A compute hour is one hour of active usage on a 1 vCPU compute. Keep in mind: - Compute size can scale up or down based on the min and max compute size settings you configure. - Neon supports scale to zero, so your compute automatically shuts down when not in use—saving compute hours. https://neon.com/docs/introduction/plans#launch

Hello @Daniel, I have a question, does 0.01 CPU uses also consider as 1CPU?

In terms of the compute size, you would look at the "Allocated" field. I can see that a 0.25 compute is currently allocated. The .01 value is the amount of CPU being used on your "Allocated" 0.25 CPU.
