Unblock request for pay.askthekidz.com

Cloudflare, We’re in the process of adding a custom domain name to Stripe Checkout that leverages Cloudflare. It’s currently blocked by you. Can you please unblock this hostname for us? Domain/Hostname we are attempting to add: pay.askthekidz.com Association with the domain: I am the business owner of Ask The Kidz, and I own the domain askthekidz.com. My account, Jacob Barkin, is the Super Admin for the domain. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

What do you mean, "blocked"? Does adding the domain fail?

Its a code 1000: Error 1000 Ray ID: 94a8b773f4115391 • 2025-06-04 16:13:16 UTC DNS points to prohibited IP What happened? You've requested a page on a website (pay.askthekidz.com) that is on the Cloudflare network. Unfortunately, it is resolving to an IP address that is creating a conflict within Cloudflare's system. Please see https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-1xxx-errors/error-1000/ for more details. What can I do? If you are the owner of this website: you should login to Cloudflare and change the DNS A records for pay.askthekidz.com to resolve to a different IP address. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But I am setting up Stripe, which shouldn't be prohibted

Yes, I created both the CNAME and TXT records in Cloudflare (DNS Only, no proxy) On my stripe dashboard, it shows as verified, and everything is set up on that end

You might want to contact Stripe then, it looks like a configuration issue on their end

Ok, so I reached out to them, and they said that they couldn't fix it, and that this was a Cloudflare problem. This was their exact response: Thank you for your patience while we were reviewing this issue for you. I'm afraid we were not able to see any errors occurring from our side. These errors seem to be related to your domain provider. If you do not mind, would you please take a look at the details as shown below on the Cloudflare support page and confirm for us that you have checked all the steps: Regarding the error 1000-DNS points to prohibited IP: This error indicates that a Cloudflare DNS record points to a prohibited IP, blocking access to the requested domain. If you can, please check the possible causes and resolution options as described here: https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-1xxx-errorsRegarding the error error 502: An HTTP 502 error indicates that Cloudflare is unable to establish contact with your origin web server. To resolve 502/504 errors, it is essential to identify whether the issue originates from your origin web server or Cloudflare. Please see the documentation below for details on how to solve this error: https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-5xx-errors/error-502-504/ I would also advise you to reach out directly to Cloudflare for possible solutions, as this error seems to be created on their side. Once you reach out to them and the issue is still not resolved, please feel free to let me know here about any updates or additional details they have provided you. I will keep an eye on your response for possible updates! Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or issues. The CNAME record is not being proxied, I am happy to send a screenshot of my DNS records if needed. This does seem to be a Cloudlfare issue, can you please helop? Thanks

@Cloudflare (Server Owner) How do I get actual support for this issue? Discord does not seem like a great place fo rthis, and $200/month is unreasonable for some basic help with DNS support @Community Champion Hello? Can I recive help for this issue?

Please do not ping community members for non-moderation reasons. Doing so will not solve your issue faster and will make people less likely to want to help you.

Only thing I could think of is removing and re-adding the custom domain in Stripe. Could be that somehow on their side they didn't add it correctly to their own Cloudflare setup (as they also use Cloudflare behind the scenes and basically need to give CF a signal that your (sub)domain is marked for use by them)

Ok, sorry about that, I just didn't knwo how to get through to someone Sounds good, I will try that I tried this, but then all I got was someone telling me that it was not the right place to do this, and I do not have $200/month to spend on Cloudflare

Oh ok, I think I just misunderstood the wording, that makes sense. I might follow that upgrade path in the future Thank you
