Rode Caster Pro 2 Virtual Channels causing audio crackle noise
I've had the Rode Caster Pro 2 for 2 months at this point. Its a create mixer, the only issue is lately I've been noticing weird audio crackling noise occurring I would say after 30 mins or more of use.
I've searched reddit posts with people having similar issues from 2 years ago, even up to version 1.5.0 of the firmware where they introduced the virtual channels.
I am trying to remember when it exactly it started, but there could be many factors. So far I've disabled my Realtek Sound Card, disabled the audio for my monitors and also disabled my 9950x3D's internal GPU.
This computer is running Windows 11 Build 26100. Everything is updated, even my BIOS. This install was fairly recent since I built this computer about 2 months ago as well.
I started to pay attention when the noise starts and it seems that when I launch Davinci I start hearing the first signs of the crackle, which is a gradual process. I sometimes have discord open and browser open as well.
In another discord and a reddit post it was suggested that I set the virtual drivers from ultra-low to low which I've done. I've even order new highspeed usb-c to c cables from sweet water.
These were Hosa 10Gbp cables which I was hoping would relieve the issue but no dice. I disabled some startup applications and removed Ableton 12 lite and the midi driver which was causing some system instability.
Recently ordered the actual Rode highspeed USB-C to C cables and plugged it directly into my usb-c port on my PC. I changed ports and even used a usb-c to usb-a adapter to see if that would work and no dice as well.
I am wondering if this is just a limitation of the rode virtual drivers since you cannot adjust the buffer size like you can in something like VoiceMeter software or ASIO drivers.
The one last thing, I have a Macbook Pro M3 Max and the second cable is plugged into a thunderbolt dock. When I use that there is not issue since the mac isn't using virtual drivers for it. There was a weird driver issue with it when I first go the mixer. The rode virtual drivers just stopped working for it.
If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated as I am constantly testing different things to see if I can eliminate this problem. I just wish Rode would make some parts of their software more flexible. I will probably try this in another windows computer and see if I get the same issue and update this post if I find anything else. Sorry for the long rant, but I hope this is enough information to help anyone understand or relate to my issue. Thanks in advance to whom responds to aid me with this issue.
