Dual Booting Windows & Bazzite - partition question

I'm currently running my PC with Windows 10 and Bazzite - everything's working smoothly; Windows and Bazzite are on separate drives away from each other. However, I wanna give Bazzite some extra storage, so I was thinking of shrinking the Windows partition on that drive and making another BTRFS partition purely for storage. Is it safe to do so, or will Windows try to overwrite it or something?
Solution
Windows wont mess with it. Windows cant even see BTRFS partitions unless you have WSL installed. You need to shrink the windows partition from within windows though. Once you have shrunk the partition within windows, boot to bazzite and create the new partition in bazzite.
