Lots of VFAs and layer shifts

Had this start today, I am getting loads of horrible layer shifts and VFAs, this came seemingly out of nowhere...

Double check the pulleys are tight on the motor shafts, and are tightened onto a flat if the motor shaft has one. Loc-tite or similar on those grub screws are a good idea.

They are absolutely on there that's what's puzzling me

Double check they are screwed on the flat side of the motor shaft

I know, mostly fixed it by now I apparently didn't have any grubs on the flat part of the shaft on one of the motors, after adjusting that the layershifts [not the VFAs] went away mostly Yes, but it also happens with PLA

Most of us suffers from VFA and only way to get rid of it is to speed up your print. If you are using Orcaslicer, print the VFA test model and see which speed gives your the best result.

Alright I will try the VFA test with 0.3mm retraction That fixed the VFAs, but there is still a ton of woodgrain
