You usually never have to shift-walk while fighting. Once you shoot, everyone knows where you are so you can run around between bursts.
But, if you're fighting around a box you could make steps one way and shift walk the other to misdirect, but this is risky.
Crouching is similar. You usually shouldn't. You're probably harder to hit if you're moving between bursts. Once you're shot and slowed down, or if someone surprises you up close, crouching is ok tho.
holding shift doesnt do anything
it makes you move slower
which you arent supposed to do anyways
theres situations where crouching is advantageous
should be strafing at full speed
i mean like for aim
when u fighting someone u obv gonna press one of em
in the best case scenario, you shouldnt press either when fighting
try to burst 1-2 shots and strafe between each
avoid shifting in fights cus it has to benefit
only crouch as a last resort but i would recommend practicing without crouching at all
once you get uses to bursting you can try tapping crouch in between bursts but its not necassary
